Teaching
Teaching brings me a lot of joy. It is incredibly rewarding to see students grow and develop their skills. You can read more about my teaching experiences and reflections below.
Undergraduate course, University of California Davis, Department of Plant Sciences, 2025
I was a Teaching Assistant for Climate Change Course (SAS25) in the Winter Quarters of 2022 to 2025. This is an undergraduate course that introduces students to scientific principles of climate change and its societal, political and economic implications. I taught this course both in-person and online.
Undergraduate course, University of California Davis, Department of Entomology and Nematology, 2023
I was a Teaching Assistant for Animal Biology Laboratory (ABI50A) in the Fall Quarter of 2023. This is an undergraduate course where students ask their own research questions on a model organism (Centrachid fishes) and conduct short population biology and field experiments to answer those questions.
